Manchester Tech Climbers List Reveal 2024
Marks & Clerk is delighted to partner with Tech Climbers once again to help showcase the most exciting tech businesses in Greater Manchester for 2024.
Following the big reveal of the businesses making the ‘Main’ and ‘Ones to Watch’ lists, the evening will conclude with networking and a celebration of the industry’s leading lights at The Alan, Manchester.
Chris Maguire, editor at TechBlast and BusinessCloud, will return to host this year’s event. The fantastic line-up of speakers from across the region will share their individual experiences of growing a tech company in today’s landscape.

Mike is experienced in all aspects of trade mark, copyright and design work, including the filing and prosecution of UK, overseas and international trade mark and registered design applications, and advising on availability and conflicts.
Aimee has over 20 years of experience in drafting, filing and prosecuting UK, European and International patent applications for a range of clients from start-ups and SMEs to universities and their spin-outs to listed companies, and is readily able to understand and work with their differing business needs.
Graeme Murray is a Registered and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney (UK) with experience in advising individuals, companies and organisations from a diverse range of industries and professions on the selection, protection and exploitation of their brands and designs.
Caitlin graduated from Imperial College London in 2016 with an MSci degree in physics, including master’s modules in computational neuroscience, general relativity, information theory, and advanced hydrodynamics.
Prior to joining Marks & Clerk in September 2018 as a Trainee Trade Mark Attorney, Matthew worked as a Solicitor in private practice from 2008 to 2016.
Alex is a Trainee Patent Attorney working in the Marks & Clerk Manchester office. He works within the Software and Electronics team, assisting with the prosecution of patent applications.
