The Life Sciences team has a depth of knowledge in pharmaceuticals, biotechnology, and agricultural-technology. The Chemistry group has extensive experience with polymers, paints, organic materials for devices, materials, catalysts, fine chemicals, and petrochemicals.

The attorneys in our Cambridge office have a particular strength with working closely with clients including start-ups, leading research institutes and universities, SMEs and multinationals, to assist with the preparation and the securing of intellectual property (IP) rights as well as advising on IP strategy to support their specific commercial needs.

The office is particularly proud of the part it has played in assisting with several clients build their IP during their journey from academic origins through significant growth and then achieving considerable investment or being acquired, with strong IP portfolios playing a crucial role in their ultimate success.
