Evangellos is a partner and patent agent based in the Marks & Clerk Toronto office. He advises clients in a variety of IP related issues, specializing in patent and design matters, over a wide range of fields including materials science, metallurgy, automotive, oil and gas, and manufacturing.
He is a registered Patent Agent in Canada, and is a member of several professional associations including the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) and the Canadian Institute of Mining, Materials and Petroleum (CIM). He has spoken at a number of conferences on the topic of patenting “green” technology.
He obtained a Bachelor’s degree in materials science and engineering from Queen’s University, and a doctorate from the University of Toronto.
Prior to beginning his doctorate, Evangellos gained engineering experience in the semiconductor industry in a large manufacturing environment, and is the named inventor on a number of patents.
