M&C LGBTQ Network Call

Today's M&C LGBTQ Network Group call was joined by people from around the UK firm, and included a great discussion sharing experiences from recent Pride events, including in Oxford, Banbury, Leamington Spa and Manchester, reflecting on the importance of visibility, community, and allyship.

The session also provided a review of Wear It Purple Day in Australia, celebrating the initiative's role in supporting and empowering LGBTQIA+ young people. Recommendations for films and TV series featuring LGBTQ themes and representation were then exchanged (Dead to Me and The Black Ball), providing plenty of inspiration for future viewing.

To round off the call, we tested our knowledge with a fun but educational quiz exploring key moments and milestones in Australia's LGBT history. Thanks to all M&C people who took part and contributed to another engaging and informative session!
