Overview & Expertise

Krishna Darshan Raghavan is a Trainee Patent Attorney based in the firm's London office and a member of the Mechanical Engineering team. He works with clients across a broad range of engineering and technology sectors, assisting with the drafting and prosecution of patent applications and registered designs in multiple jurisdictions.

He regularly works with individual inventors, start-ups and SMEs, providing tailored advice and clear, practical guidance throughout the patenting process. By taking the time to understand each client's technology, commercial objectives and wider business priorities, he helps simplify complex procedures and enables clients to make informed decisions at every stage of the innovation lifecycle.

Krishna is a member of the firm's Unified Patent Court (UPC) team and regularly analyses decisions issued by the Court. He contributes to discussions on the implications of emerging UPC case law and co-authors articles examining notable decisions and developments, helping clients stay informed about the evolving European patent landscape.

Prior to entering the intellectual property profession, Krishna worked as a Development Test Engineer at Cummins, where he was involved in the testing and validation of high-horsepower diesel and gas engines and generator sets. He also completed an internship with Air India, gaining hands-on experience in the maintenance, repair and overhaul of jet engines.
