Chris is a Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney. He has experience in a range of technologies in the fields of physics and engineering, including: automotive parts, fire alarm systems, fluid dynamics, gaming machines (software and hardware), inkless printing systems, lithographic apparatus and methods, medical devices, night vision apparatus and turbomachinery. His practice includes the drafting and prosecution of patent applications as well as advising in relation to validity and infringement matters.

Chris is also a qualified trade mark attorney and has experience in a variety of trade mark matters.

Chris graduated from the University of Oxford with a first class Masters degree in Physics, where he was awarded the John Thresher Prize for an MPhys project in Particle and Nuclear Physics. He was awarded a PhD in Particle Physics from the University of Manchester for his work on Top quark phenomenology at the Large Hadron Collider at CERN.
