Kyle Arndt | Senior Associate, Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney for Marks & Clerk LLP
Kyle is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent and Design Attorney who drafts, files and prosecutes mechanical and electronics patent applications in the UK, Europe and internationally. For over 10 years, Kyle has been advising clients on all aspects of Intellectual Property (IP) relating to patents, from protection through to enforcement and strategic management of third party IP risks, as well as advising on registered and unregistered design rights. Kyle graduated from the University of Glasgow with a Masters degree in Physics in 2009 and handles cases in fields including automotive, manufacturing, mechanical engineering, oil and gas, optical technologies, semiconductors, telecommunications and water treatment/distribution.
Julie Canet | Associate, Registered and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney (UK) for Marks & Clerk LLP
Julie is a Registered and Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney who assists clients with trade mark clearance, brand strategy, prosecution and enforcement. She acts for a broad range of clients – mostly based in Scotland and France, with a particular focus within the Food & Drink, Fashion and Healthcare industries. Julie joined Marks & Clerk in September 2019. She obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property with Merit from Bournemouth University in 2021, and was awarded a Distinction in the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University in 2022. Julie previously graduated from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris) with a Masters degree in Intellectual Property Law, having completed a Bachelors degree in Law which included a year studying at the University of Rotterdam. She has also passed the French Bar Examination.
