Julie is a Registered and Chartered UK Trade Mark Attorney who assists clients with trade mark clearance, brand strategy, prosecution and enforcement. She acts for a broad range of clients – mostly based in Scotland and France, with a particular focus within the Food & Drink, Fashion and Healthcare industries.

Julie is active in Marks & Clerk's Beauty & Cosmetics sector group. She has acquired experience in this sector working in-house for a French luxury company and is eager to develop relationships with clients operating in the field of perfumes, cosmetics, skincare and haircare.

Julie joined Marks & Clerk in September 2019. She obtained a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property with Merit from Bournemouth University in 2021, and was awarded a Distinction in the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice at Nottingham Trent University in 2022. Julie previously graduated from Panthéon-Assas University (Paris) with a Masters degree in Intellectual Property Law, having completed a Bachelors degree in Law which included a year studying at the University of Rotterdam. She has also passed the French Bar Examination.
