Enterprise Tuesday - Norwich Research Park
Marks & Clerk is delighted to sponsor the latest Enterprise Showcase hosted by Anglia Innovation Partnership (AIP) at Norwich Research Park.
Entitled ‘Problem Solving Through Collaboration’, the event will feature recent examples of the collaborative work that the AIP team has supported as well as an interactive panel discussion focusing on preventative medicine, early intervention, and healthy ageing. Panel members include: Professor Anne-Marie Minihane, Director of the Norwich Institute of Healthy Ageing (NIHA); Sheng Qi, Professor of Pharmaceutical Material Science &Technology, Associate Dean for Innovation (Faculty of Science), UEA & CSO, Ediform; Professor Martin Warren, Chief Scientific Officer of the Quadram Institute; Dr Tony Jones, CEO of One Nucleus; and Dr Pedro de Noronha Pissarra, CEO of Chrysealabs.
Dr Stella Peace, Executive Director for Healthy Living and Agriculture, Innovate UK, will be providing the keynote presentation describing how Innovate UK supports business-led innovation across all sectors and technologies.

Andrea is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney who works for both local and overseas clients to draft and prosecute biotechnology patent applications worldwide.
Gareth is a partner in the Cambridge office of Marks & Clerk, and has over twenty years of experience in IP. His technical background is in human molecular biology and genetics, having obtained a doctorate which was funded as part of the Human Genome Project.
Jasmine joined Marks & Clerk in 2021 as a Trainee Patent Attorney based in the Cambridge office. Before joining Marks & Clerk, Jasmine completed a PhD in Molecular Nutrition at the Quadram Institute Bioscience.
Georgia is a Trainee Patent Attorney working within Marks & Clerk’s Life Sciences team based in Cambridge. Georgia joined the firm in 2022, following working as a paralegal within a Family Law firm in Cardiff.
