Shannon Young

Shannon graduated from Laurentian University in 2001 with an Honours Bachelor of Arts Degree in English Literature. She subsequently pursued a degree in Education from the University of Ottawa. Upon graduating magna cum laude in 2002, Shannon joined Marks & Clerk as a Trade-mark Associate.

Shannon became a registered Trade-mark Agent in 2006, receiving the Educational Foundation Prize from the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada ("IPIC") for achieving the highest mark on the Trade-mark Agency Qualifying Examinations. During her time at Marks & Clerk, Shannon has focused on extensive legal research and has been involved in a variety of events and functions in association with the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada. Shannon has played ice hockey since the age of five and currently spends her spare time practicing yoga, kick-boxing, running, reading and book-collecting.
