Yvonne holds a BSc degree in Communication Engineering from Central South University in China and an MSc in the same field from Nanyang Technological University (NTU).
After graduation, Yvonne served as an R&D engineer at a Global 500 company for five years. During this period, she specialized in the field of wireless communication, including filing 20 relevant patents as an inventor and actively contributing to WiFi standards. Her work included telecommunication technologies such as frame design, antenna transmission, digital modulation, carrier sensing, and mobile communication. Her work also involved signal processing, hardware debugging, and software development.
Yvonne joined Marks & Clerk Singapore LLP in 2023, where she now works on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in fields such as integrated circuits, operation systems, medical devices, electronic devices, and signal processing methods.
Yvonne is currently training to become a registered Singapore patent attorney.
