Steven Pediani is a Principal based in Manchester and a Chartered UK and European Patent Attorney, as well as a UPC Representative. He focuses on software and artificial intelligence, advising clients on the protection and management of intellectual property in rapidly evolving digital environments.

He works with a broad client base, including start-ups, SMEs and multinational technology companies, providing strategic, commercially focused guidance on patent protection. His experience includes drafting and prosecuting patent applications before the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office, helping clients secure protection across multiple jurisdictions.

Steven also advises on the management of complex, multi-national patent portfolios, supporting clients in developing and implementing international IP strategies in emerging technology fields. His experience in these areas helps clients navigate the legal and technical challenges associated with software and AI innovation.

He holds a first-class MPhys degree in Physics, Astrophysics and Cosmology from Lancaster University and a PhD in Astrophysics from the University of Manchester. He is a member of the Institute of Physics, the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and the European Patent Institute.
