Robbie is a qualified European Patent Attorney based in our Aberdeen office who generally works with clients in the field of engineering, primarily in the energy and automotive industries. Robbie has gained substantial experience drafting patent applications, dealing with patent offices and advising clients on matters of freedom to operate.

Robbie graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 2017 with a first class masters degree in Mechanical Engineering. During his third year at university, Robbie was selected for the top 10 electrical and mechanical engineering students across the UK, as part of the Undergraduate of the Year awards. Some projects Robbie worked on at university related to shale gas extraction and an additive-manufacturing process known as Selective Laser Sintering.
