Nikki is a Canadian Patent Agent, US Patent Agent, Chartered (UK) Patent Attorney and European Patent Attorney practising out of the Toronto office of Marks & Clerk Canada. She is also a lawyer qualified in Ontario and England and Wales. Her practice focuses on patent drafting and prosecution.
Nikki has more than 15 years experience, split between Canada and the United Kingdom, in drafting and prosecuting patents before the Canadian Intellectual Property Office, United States Patent and Trademark Office, the UK Intellectual Property Office and the European Patent Office.
Nikki’s technical background is in electrical engineering, and she specialises in inventions in the electronics, communications and software fields and has particular experience in networking, wireless telecommunications, integrated circuit design, integrated circuit verification, CPUs, GPUs, artificial intelligence (including neural networks), signal processing, and satellite technology.
Nikki has been repeatedly recognized in the Legal 500 and IP Stars for her work with complex subject matter.
