Nick joined Marks & Clerk in 2021 as a Trainee Patent Attorney based in the London office. Prior to joining Marks & Clerk, Nick studied at Durham University and graduated with a first class Masters in Chemistry. His studies included a year in industry as a medicinal chemist at Vertex Pharmaceuticals. Whilst there he performed research focused around the synthesis and application of trifluoromethylation reagents.
Nick then studied a masters in pharmacology at Oxford University and graduated with distinction. His research project was focused around the medicinal chemistry development of DNA repair inhibitors as antibiotic adjuvants.
Nick has experience in pharmaceuticals, polymers, energy storage technology and display technology.
