Inès is a French “Conseil en Propriété Industrielle” and a Luxembourg Trademark & Design Attorney representing in Benelux, as well as an EUIPO Professional, active in Intellectual Property law since 2016. She also obtained the CCDL in Luxembourg.
Inès advises clients from various industries and geographies, ranging from start-ups to multinational companies.
Her area of expertise is primarily trademark law, design law, domain names and copyright. Currently, she represents and advises clients on all aspects of their Intellectual Property protection strategy, as well as on trademark and design prosecution and enforcement. Inès has acquired experience in different recognized International law firms and has worked for a European Commission Project where she was advising SMEs on Intellectual Property. Earlier in her career at an international law firm, she supported a major company in the Pharmaceutical sector with a global portfolio of 17 000 trademarks, working directly with their in-house IP Director and business teams worldwide, having to lead a team at the law firm to meet the client’s needs. This involved defending her client’s rights internationally, handling negotiations with third parties, and managing international infringement actions worldwide.
Inès uses this experience to provide clear, concise and commercially focused advice to her clients and also adapt her language to non-IP professionals such as Marketing or R&D departments and has regularly given workshops and presentations on topics such as Sustainability and IP ; the Defence of IP rights on Internet, etc.
Inès helps her clients develop the best IP protection strategy for her client’ needs and budget, by strategically assessing clients' geographic priorities and identifying the best forms of protection. This often involves advice on combining trade mark protection with other IP rights, such as registered designs, and advice on bespoke enforcement strategies to address counterfeiting activity.
In addition to her experience in the Pharmaceutical sector, Inès works on a daily basis with clients in the Fashion and Retail / Cosmetic Industries, Entertainment, Financial Services, Food and Beverage industries.
Inès speaks French, English, and Spanish fluently and has some basic knowledge in German.
She graduated with a Double Master degree in Intellectual Property from the University of Toulouse Capitole, France and from the University of Madrid, Carlos III, Spain and has been active at a number of IP industry Conferences such as ECTA, PTMG and INTA.
