Gareth is a Partner and Chartered Trade Mark and Design Attorney based in the Oxford office. He has over 25 years’ experience advising on trade mark and brand matters for clients ranging from individuals to multinational organisations.

He has particular expertise in the management of global trade mark portfolios, counterfeits, trade mark infringements, registry proceedings and the assignment of intellectual property rights. Gareth’s principal client base is in the food & drink and cosmetics & beauty sectors. With a background in biomedical science, he also advises clients in the healthcare and life sciences sectors.

Gareth focuses on developing long‑term client relationships, taking time to understand each client’s commercial strategy and objectives. He combines this understanding with a detailed knowledge of trade mark law to provide transparent, realistic and effective trade mark strategies tailored to client needs.
