Faye Campbell is a Trainee Patent Attorney based in Aberdeen and is working towards qualification as a UK and European Patent Attorney.
She has a particular interest in patent drafting and developing clear, accurate descriptions of complex technologies. Faye works closely with colleagues across the firm to stay up to date with legal developments, including contributing to articles on the European.
Patent Office Examination Guidelines and Unified Patent Court case law. She applies this knowledge in practice to support effective patenting outcomes.
Faye has developed experience in drafting, amendment and argumentation through her work on an international patent portfolio for a leading electronics and camera systems provider in the transport sector. This has provided her with a broad technical overview and experience of multi-jurisdictional patent prosecution.
She holds an MEng in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from the University of Aberdeen and a Postgraduate Certificate in Intellectual Property from Bournemouth University.
