Ella is a Registered and Chartered Trade Mark Attorney and Senior Associate in the trade mark team. She joined Marks & Clerk in 2016, qualifying in August 2019 after passing her final exams with commendation.
Ella is involved in all aspects of registration, management and enforcement of UK, EU, foreign and international trade marks.
She assists and advises a range of clients from large multi-national entities to local individuals operating in a variety of sectors including publishing, industry and fast-moving consumer goods. Ella is also head of our national food and drinks team. Ella is particularly experienced in brand clearance and searching, assignments and other Recordals and frequently deals with contentious actions and negotiations. In addition, Ella also has experience in dealing with company and domain name complaints.
Ella was awarded a Commendation in the Professional Certificate in Trade Mark Practice from Nottingham Law School, and a Postgraduate Certificate in Trade Mark Law and Practice from Queen Mary, University of London.
Prior to joining Marks & Clerk, Ella graduated with a degree in Scots Law & French Language from the University of Glasgow.
