Overview & Expertise

Callum Cook is an Associate Patent Attorney in Marks & Clerk’s Engineering & Physics team, based in Glasgow. He supports clients across the Energy & Environment sector, with a practice focused on drafting and prosecuting patent applications in key jurisdictions, particularly Europe.

His work includes preparing and prosecuting international and national patent applications, undertaking freedom-to-operate analyses and conducting IP audits. He works with a broad range of clients, including individuals, start-ups, SMEs, universities and multinational organisations, providing practical support across the patent lifecycle.

Callum holds an MEng in Aero-Mechanical Engineering from the University of Strathclyde, where he graduated with distinction. His academic work included analysis of the UK suborbital rocket industry, reflecting his interest in aerospace technologies. He is also a member of the firm’s Space team, supporting clients in this sector.
