Overview & Expertise

Caitlin is an Associate who advises clients on a wide range of IP matters with a primary focus on patent disputes. Caitlin worked for several years in the the patent field as a paralegal before qualifying in the first cohort of the new Solicitor Qualifying Exam (SQE) to become a solicitor with the firm in 2022. She subsequently completed the Postgraduate Diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice at the University of Oxford in 2024.

Her experience includes work on large‑scale patent litigation and design rights cases, with involvement in proceedings before the High Court and the Court of Appeal. She has developed a detailed understanding of both the technical and commercial contexts in which patent disputes arise, informed by earlier experience at another specialist IP litigation firm.

Caitlin’s practice spans sectors such as life sciences, medical technologies and digital transformation. Her knowledge of these areas supports clients in navigating contentious IP issues and understanding the implications of litigation strategy for their business objectives.

Outside of work and study, Caitlin is a Freeman of the City of London and was a national and international synchronised swimmer. Although retired from synchro she still enjoys swimming and various water sports, spending time with her family and painting.
