Anuradha joined as a Trainee Patent Attorney in the Marks & Clerk’s electronics patent team in London in September 2024. Anuradha graduated with a first class honours degree in Natural Sciences from University College London, specialising in her final year in Condensed Matter and Nano Physics. She went on to join the Oxide Electronics Group at the Clarendon Laboratory, gaining a doctorate from the University of Oxford in research using neutron and x-ray scattering to study unconventional forms of quantum order in magnetic oxides.
Following academia, Anuradha joined the Diamond Light Source, located at the Harwell Science and Innovation Campus in Oxfordshire. She was involved in the development of optics, instrumentation and software for a world-class single crystal X-ray diffraction facility, as well as demonstrating the capabilities of the facility by performing high-impact research in the field of Quantum Magnetism.
During her research career, Anuradha co-authored numerous publications in journals such as Physical Review Letters and Nature Communications Physics, and was awarded an ‘Editor’s Suggestion’ for two of the publications. She also had the opportunity to give invited talks around the world, notably in Italy, France Switzerland, the U.S. and China.
