An expert-led, must-attend event hybrid series for any entrepreneur looking to drive their business from start-up to exit
Online via Zoom and in person at The Oxford Trust’s Wood Centre for Innovation in Headington (OX3 8SB), UK
The Oxford Trust, Barclays Eagle Labs and Oxford Innovation are once again running an expert-led event series called Exit Right for entrepreneurs looking to drive their business from start-up to exit. The 2023 series is sponsored by Marks & Clerk and is available to attend in person or by registering online. Following on from the successful 2022 Exit Right events, this year’s talks are from founders and directors who have successfully exited their businesses as well as M&A experts.
The speakers of the four, free to attend, sessions include founders and directors who have successfully exited their businesses as well as M&A experts. The line-up includes some names you might recognise: David Llewellyn, Co-Founder of DJS Antibodies, and Matt Brown, Co-Founder of Quorbit, based at the Wood Centre for Innovation; and Andrew Luers, Co-Founder of Habitat Energy from the Oxford Centre for Innovation.
The series starts with the truly insightful real-life start-up to exit story from David Llewellyn and also covers: A tale of two exits, An exit dilemma and Buying a company.
The talks are 45 minutes, starting at 17:30, followed by a 15-minute Q&A session. The event series starts on 25th May and will run biweekly. The talks will be livestreamed, although for those that wish to meet the speakers in person, events will be held at the Wood Centre for Innovation. Each event will be followed by drinks and networking at the Centre.
