Seeds of Scale, the latest Impact Report from the UK Space Agency Accelerator, provides an encouraging indication of the momentum building across the UK's space sector. Since its launch in 2021, the Accelerator has supported 289 founders and helped participating businesses raise more than £100 million in funding, while also reporting an 82% three-year survival rate. These figures reflect a growing ecosystem of innovative businesses developing technologies across areas such as climate resilience, manufacturing, communications, defence and life sciences. As the UK space sector continues to attract both public and private investment, the report highlights the increasing ability of UK founders to convert technical innovation into commercially viable businesses.
