Amrita V. Singh has been appointed as a co-leader of the Enforcement Committee’s Bad Faith Working Group, where she will guide discussions, advocacy and analysis of initiatives tackling bad‑faith trademark filings and enforcement challenges around the world.
Michael O’Neill has been appointed Chair of the Canadian Subcommittee on Non‑Traditional Marks, focusing on developments and best practices relating to the protection of non‑traditional trademarks in Canada. He is also part of the North America Global Advisory Council (NAGAC).
These appointments highlight the strength and expertise of our Canadian team and our ongoing commitment to shaping IP policy and practice at a domestic and international level and contributing to positive changes in the world of trademarks.
