Marks & Clerk is thrilled to share that we will be sponsoring the Global Startups Tech Builders conference, taking place on June 16, 2026, in Toronto, Canada.
Two of our M&C team will be there: Nikki Davy, Counsel, Lawyer and Patent Agent, and Maria Wei, Senior Associate, Lawyer and Patent Agent, from our Toronto office.
The conference is designed for pre-seed founders, and innovators, to connect with other founders, investors, and businesses and will feature a series of educational talks, a live keynote, networking sessions, 1:1 meetings and a pitch competition. It is expected to attract start-ups from around the world looking to build their network here in Canada, a great opportunity for Canadian innovators and business leaders to connect with them.
During the event, our team, Nikki and Maria, who have extensive experience working with startups and innovators to protect and commercialize their IP, will be hosting a booth at the exhibition to informally answer any IP queries and share more information on IP in Canada.
We are pleased to partner with Global Startups, a nonprofit accelerator based in Toronto, that provides expert advice and support to Canadian-based and international startups.
Marks & Clerk has a longstanding history of supporting startups and innovators both domestically and internationally through our team of Intellectual Property experts who have in-depth expertise in IP strategy development and IP protection, including patents, designs, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and confidential information.
We look forward to seeing you at the event.
