Likewise, there are unsettled issues relating to whether using copyright works to train AI infringes, whether and when AI outputs may benefit from copyright protection, and whether AI-generated works infringe and, if so, who is reliable. Copyright also extends to databases, and in limited circumstances may even protect data.
