Through this partnership, Marks & Clerk’s dedicated Innovation Factory team, which includes Kevin Shipley, Wilfred So and Maria Wei, will work directly to provide innovators with IP education through a series of in-person and virtual workshops, and 1-2-1 advice on an appointment basis to help guide them on how to leverage IP. They will also work directly with qualified innovators to create a tailored IP strategy aligned with their business plans and objectives, and to implement the strategy to safeguard innovations and generate value for their business.
Our Marks & Clerk team of IP lawyers, patent and trademark agents have in-depth expertise in IP strategy development and IP protection, including patents, designs, trademarks, copyrights, trade secrets and confidential information. We also manage IP portfolios, license and commercialize IP, and enforce IP rights.
“We are excited to partner with Innovation Factory and eager to work with the next generation of innovators here in Ontario to help them leverage intellectual property. Our team of IP experts are passionate about supporting small and growing businesses and providing them with the guidance and tools to commercialize their innovations and succeed.
