Falling Walls Lab

Marks & Clerk are proud to support this world-class pitching competition in conjunction with Strathclyde Inspire, which provides a stage for global and local breakthrough ideas. Up for grabs is a place in the global final in Berlin on November 7th, a ticket to the Falling Walls Science Summit and a £5000 prize fund, sponsored by Marks & Clerks.

In just 3 minutes, students and early-career professionals must convince a judging panel that their work has the breakthrough factor and the potential to present solutions to some of the most pressing challenges of our time. We are happy to have our expert Franziska on the judging panel, who will help send the winner to the final. 

The day will consist of a number of pitches, followed by a Q+A session from the following judging panel:
