Aberdeen (UK)

Aberdeen (UK) picture

Since the early days of oil and gas exploration, we have had a significant client base in the north east of Scotland. As well as advising some of the world’s biggest oil companies, our Aberdeen office has been there to protect the ideas and brands of local businesses on the global stage through patents, trade marks and other intellectual property rights.

At the centre of the North Sea oil and gas industry for 40 years, Aberdeen is reinventing itself again, this time as a hub for the development of renewable energy technologies. But with world-renowned research institutes, as well as a growing life sciences sector our European and UK Patent and Trade Mark Attorneys have developed strength in a number of other industries too, including medical devices, clean technologies, electronics and software.

We have also been at the forefront in assisting the renewable energy sector to recognise and protect its fledgling IP.  As members of the Aberdeen Renewable Energy Group, we are committed to helping to ensure that the north east gets the maximum benefit from its innovation.
