Zeqiang is qualified as a Chinese Patent Attorney and is currently working towards qualification as a Singapore Registered Patent Attorney. He works on drafting and prosecution of patent applications in fields such as electronic devices, mechanical devices, medical devices, Fintech, computer implemented inventions and semiconductors.

Zeqiang holds a BEng in Biomedical Engineering and MSc in Biophysics from Beijing University of Technology. Following graduation, Zeqiang worked as a Patent Examiner at the China Patent Office, during which period he conducted search and examination on patent applications in the field of medical devices. Prior to joining Marks & Clerk in June 2022, Zeqiang worked in two Singapore law firms successively, where he prosecuted patent applications in a wide range of technical fields, design applications, and plant variety protection applications.
