Sophie's technical experience spans a broad range of life sciences innovations, including PCR-based diagnostics, biomarkers, diagnostic devices (such as lateral flow tests and ELISA-based systems), peptide vaccines, oncolytic viruses, combination therapies, therapeutic cannabinoids and antibodies. Her work also extends to cell cultures, enzymes, food technology, gene-based inventions and medical devices.

Her full-service approach to IP covers drafting and prosecution, freedom-to-operate and novelty searches, infringement opinions, oppositions and appeals. She has also successfully guided patent applications from initial drafting through to grant and opposition defence at the European Patent Office.
