Michael specialises in telecommunications and electronics. Prior to joining the patent profession, he worked as an engineer for Fujitsu Networks Europe and lectured in telecommunications and multimedia at the University of Hertfordshire.
Prior to joining Marks and Clerk, he was an examiner at the UK patent Office and has three years' experience at another patent attorney firm.
He has a BSc in Physics, an MSc in Applied Optics and a PhD in Telecommunications (Wavelength Division Multiplexing over Passive Optical networks).
