Alison is a Registered UK Trade Mark Attorney, having qualified in 1998. She represents a variety of clients in sectors as diverse as retail, ingredients and bankingy and advises on the full spectrum of trade mark matters, including availability and infringement, applications and opposition proceedings. She has experience of managing, and enforcing via opposition proceedings, a portfolio of trade marks in over 100 countries.

In 2007, Alison completed an LLM in IP litigation at Nottingham Law School which has added to her experience in contentious matters. Alison is a member of the Council of ITMA (Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys) where she chairs the education committee and is active in various working groups with a focus on education and training for attorneys and paralegals.

Alison was recommended in the inaugural Who's Who Legal: Trade Mark Agents in 2015, which says she is regarded as “truly exceptional” by peers, and was again listed as an expert in 2016. She was also recommended in the 2015 and 2016 editions of Legal 500, and was mentioned in Managing Intellectual Property’s IP Stars guide in 2016.
