Kimberly is heavily involved in managing large-scale trade mark portfolios for clients from a vast array of industries, ranging from pharmaceuticals, property development, fashion and retail to F&B in multiple jurisdictions. This includes trade mark filing and prosecution, representing clients for opposition proceedings, as well as advising on strategies for protection of trade mark rights and branding. Kimberly also has previous experience in IP enforcement, anti-counterfeiting and litigation matters. She assisted in offering support and acting for clients in negotiations for trade mark-related transactions.
Kimberly read law and completed her Bar Professional Training Course with Cardiff University, Wales. She was called to the Bar of England and Wales as a Barrister-at Law (Hon. Society of the Middle Temple) in 2019 and admitted to the Malaysian Bar in 2020. Prior to joining Marks & Clerk, Kimberly completed her pupillage and was retained as an associate with one of Malaysia’s top tier law firms with regional presence in all ASEAN countries.
