Earlier this week, leading international intellectual property firm Marks & Clerk released the firm’s third annual AI Report, the results of which have been reported by leading tech and medtech publications around the world. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the surge in medtech filings has dominated the headlines to date as detailed by Med-Tech Innovation News in their piece, ‘Medical technology outstripping other sectors in AI innovation – report’. Medical Buyer led with ‘AI-based medical imaging, diagnostics dominate patent applications list’ and leading medical industry trade publication Hospital & Healthcare Management reported ‘AI-Based Medical Imaging & Diagnostics Drives Medtech Sector’.
Leading tech publications have also been quick to pick up on the increased number of medtech AI filings covered by the report. Compsmag reported ‘Healthcare: How Medical Technology Leads the AI Innovation Race’; hugely popular platform Cryptopolitan reported ‘AI Innovation Soars in Medical Technology Sector, Report Reveals’ and AI2 News led with ‘Medical Technology Leads in AI Innovation’.
Finally, were delighted to see news of our findings have been reported in Japan in the AI Times where we look forward to sharing the Japanese version of the report soon.
