Marks & Clerk is pleased to continue our support as a sponsor of the Copyright Society’s Annual Meeting. This year’s event is taking place in Chicago, Illinois from June 12 – 14, 2022.

Marks & Clerk will be represented by Canadian Partner, Catherine (Cat) Lovrics who will join members of the copyright and entertainment communities for what promises to be a jam-packed event of cutting-edge copyright law panel discussions, networking events, and activities that explore the heart and soul of Chicago during the Copyright Society's Annual Meeting.

The Copyright Society of the USA, a non-profit organization established in 1953, is devoted to copyright law awareness and education. With headquarters in New York City and over 1,000 members nationwide, CSUSA’s mission is to foster interest in and advance the study and understanding of copyright law in literature, music, art, theater, motion picture, television, computer software, architecture, and other works of authorship, and their distribution through both traditional and new media.

Members of the Society include attorneys and professionals from the world’s leading IP firms and entertainment and media industries, solo practitioners, in-house counsel, the authors of primary copyright law treatises, representatives of the U.S. Copyright Office, publishers, academics and law students.
