Canadian partners, Amrita V. Singh and Catherine (Cat) Lovrics will participate as instructors in the 2022 Intellectual Property Institute of Canada/McGill University summer IP courses. These courses will be offered in person between July 11 – 27. Participants will gain knowledge of specific aspects of IP, acquire the insights needed to protect a portfolio of intellectual property, and/or advance their careers in the area of IP law.
Understanding Trademarks
This practical course will provide insight on how to protect a brand’s most valuable asset. It is more important than ever to learn the nuances associated with the many different ways to distinguish a brand’s goods and services from others, and understand what you can and cannot register, and respond to Examiners’ reports, opposition proceedings and enforcement/litigation issues post-registration.
