Canadian partners, Kevin Shipley, James Baker and Ian Clark, and Counsel, Ken McKay, will travel to San Francisco, California to attend the 2022 World Congress, from September 10 – 13, 2022.
Kevin Shipley, currently serves as Chair of AIPPI’s Digital Economy Standing Committee which will be meeting during the Congress, and also co-authored Canada’s submissions in response to this years patent working question Q280 on the Patentability of Diagnostic Methods, which will be debated during the event.
The International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property, known as AIPPI (Association Internationale pour la Protection de la Propriété Intellectuelle), is the world’s leading not-for-profit association dedicated to the development and improvement of laws for the protection of intellectual property. It is a politically neutral, non-profit organization, based in Switzerland with about 8000 members worldwide from more than 131 countries.
