Anis Naidu

Anis is a Chartered (UK) and European Patent Attorney specialising in matters relating to chemical, pharmaceutical and medical device technologies.
Anis represents both domestic and international companies operating within the healthcare and medical sectors. He has experience advising universities and spin-out companies on early stage technologies ranging from small molecule therapies through to surgical devices. Anis also works closely with public sector organisations and advises a number of NHS Trust Hospitals on the capture, protection and commercialisation of inventions developed by healthcare professionals. He has also gained significant experience in advising organisations operating within the textile treatment, wood fabrication and food additive fields.
Anis has worked as a patent attorney since 2012 and graduated from Imperial College London with a Master’s degree in Chemistry. He spent several years working as a research chemist, focussing on small molecule therapies, at a large multinational pharmaceutical company prior to joining the patent attorney profession. Anis practiced as a patent attorney in the Marks & Clerk Singapore office for a number of years and also has the necessary qualifications to be considered a Singapore Patent Attorney.
