Kate Adamson

Kate works with a wide range of patent cases in physics and electronics, with particular experience in medical imaging technology. Before joining Marks & Clerk in 2012, Kate worked as a scientist and antenna engineer in the defence and telecommunications sectors. She spent several years developing electromagnetic models and designs for phased array radar antennas before moving into the design of base station antennas for mobile communications.

Kate has an MSci in theoretical physics from the University of St Andrews, a PhD in high-energy particle physics from the University of Durham and a postgraduate certificate in intellectual property from Bournemouth University. She is also a chartered physicist.
