Yee Ann received her BSc honours degree in Chemistry from National University of Singapore (NUS) and her PhD from RWTH Aachen University in Germany. Her PhD was funded by a DAAD scholarship awarded by the German Academic Exchange Service.
Following her PhD, Yee Ann spent time as a research fellow at NUS and then at a footwear company, where she led product and material development projects, before joining Marks & Clerk Singapore LLP in 2022. With her extensive involvement in scientific research and development, Yee Ann has technical expertise in catalysis, organic chemistry, polymer chemistry, 3D printing, and footwear development.
Yee Ann is currently training towards becoming a registered Singapore patent attorney.
