Dian is an intellectual property lawyer and a member of the Trademark and Copyright Law practice groups. Her practice focuses on the clearance, protection, enforcement and licensing of copyrights and trademarks as well as data and privacy law matters.
Dian is licensed to practice law in Ontario (2019) and Jamaica (2015) and articled with a full-service Bay Street firm. She holds a Master of Laws from Osgoode Hall Law School, a Bachelor of Laws from the University of the West Indies and a Legal Education Certificate from Norman Manley Law School where she won numerous awards including the Foga Daley Scholarship for academic achievement and interest in Intellectual Property Law. She also received a Certificate in Copyright law from Harvard Law School.
Before starting her legal career, Dian graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Zoology with a minor in Psychology from the University of the West Indies.
Outside the office, Dian enjoys cooking, restaurant hopping and planning her next travel adventure.
