Martin advises domestic and foreign clients on the development of their trade mark portfolios. He has considerable experience in representing clients in Benelux and international trade mark prosecution and advising on litigation. He also handles domain name matters and disputes.
Martin graduated from the University of Vienna in 1999 with a degree in law, after having spent one year of ERASMUS studies at Universidade Católica Portuguesa in Lisbon. Following an internship in the European Commission, Martin began his professional career with another attorney firm, where he built up a substantial reputation, before he joined the Luxembourg office of Marks & Clerk in 2007.
Martin is a Luxembourg Conseil en Propriété Industrielle with authority to act as Trade Mark Attorney at each of the the Benelux Intellectual Property Offices, EU IPO and WIPO. Martin is a member of BMM, ECTA, INTA and AIPPI. A native German speaker, he is also fluent in English and French with conversational Luxembourgish, Spanish, Portuguese and Italian.
