Liam joined Marks & Clerk in 2022 as a Trainee Patent Attorney based in the Cambridge office. Before joining Marks & Clerk, Liam studied Plastic Electronic Materials (MRes) at Imperial College London where he worked on the computational screening of semiconductor properties. Prior to this, he studied Chemistry with Molecular Physics and a Year in Industry (MSci) at Imperial College London. Liam spent his Year in Industry at Schlumberger Gould Research, working on the interfacial properties of oil-based drilling fluids.

As we reported in early 2022, the Enlarged Board of Appeal of the EPO are considering two pending referrals (G1/22 and G2/22) regarding the question of entitlement to priority.
