We are looking to add additional talent to join our dynamic team. The Trademark Associate will have an in-depth understanding of trademark law and principals. 

You will support all trademark related needs of significant portfolios of high-profile clients throughout the world in a wide variety of industries and provide support on enforcement matters.

This is an exceptional opportunity for a young associate to gain significant IP experience working in conjunction with elite attorneys on sophisticated and cutting-edge matters.

Experience

Minimum of three to five years of experience specializing in trademark clearance and prosecution and preparing related agreements.

Experience with enforcement matters, such as oppositions, cancellations, and infringement actions, would be an asset.

  • Experience working in an electronic environment.
  • Outstanding communication and organization skills.
  • Excellent research and writing skills, both technical and legal.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional, highly responsive, and positive work attitude is critical.

Qualifications

  • Recognized law degree.
  • Licensed to practice before the Federal Court of Canada and the Ontario Superior Court of Justice.
  • Trademark Agent designation an asset.
