Samuel Waterfall

Samuel joined Marks & Clerk in September 2019 and works in the London office as a Trainee Patent Attorney. 

Prior to joining, he graduated from the University of Warwick with a first class Master’s degree in Physics. His final year project focused on a method of pipe inspection using ultrasonic torsional guided waves induced via an electromagnetic acoustic transducer (EMAT).

Samuel also has experience in AI and Machine Learning due to completing a placement as a ‘Vision & AI Research Engineer’ at Imagination Technologies, this was heavily focused on the use of convolutional neural networks in image recognition.

Outside of work, Samuel enjoys rock climbing, hiking, and cooking.
