Nicholas Fischer

Nick has experience working on a range of contentious and non-contentious IP disputes with a focus on patent litigation and regulatory issues (including supplemental protection certificates) in the life sciences sector, assisted by his technical background in cell biology.
 
Nick’s recent experience includes patent revocation and infringement proceedings in the High Court relating to both pharmaceutical products and medical devices.
 
Nick read Cell Biology at Durham University and graduated in 2010 with first class honours, going on to complete a Master's degree in plant cell biology in 2011. He then trained and qualified as a Solicitor at a leading London IP firm before joining Marks & Clerk Law in January 2020.
 
Outside of work Nick enjoys keeping active, including playing rugby, and sings in a choir in London.
