Jennifer Ledwell

Jennifer’s patent practice is primarily in the areas of biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, and chemistry. She is a registered Canadian Patent Agent since 2003 and is also registered to practice before the United States Patent and Trademark Office on behalf of Canadian clients. She is a member of the Intellectual Property Institute of Canada (IPIC) where she previously served on the Biotechnology Legislation Committee.

Jennifer obtained a Bachelor of Science in 1990 with honours in Biochemistry from the University of Ottawa. She also obtained a Ph.D. from Stanford University, specializing in biophysical and electrophysiological study of cooperative interactions in proteins. She then spent two years as a post-doctoral research fellow at Yale University.

In 2015, Jennifer featured in the inaugural edition of Who's Who Legal: Patent Agents, which referred to her "impressive depth of expertise". She was also listed as an expert in 2016.
