William is an intellectual property lawyer with a particular focus on complex patent litigation and strategy in the telecommunications, electronics and life sciences areas.
William regularly advises on patents in a broad range of technologies, but has recent experience with mobile phones and networks including internet, web and WiFi technologies; software; biotechnology and vaccines; and mechanical engineering. He has significant experience in media and telecommunications matters involving competition, FRAND and SEP issues.
The majority of William’s cases are before the UK High Court but involve harmonisation with parallel proceedings in Europe (including in the EPO), the US and Asia.
William’s interests include cycling, running, tennis and skiing.
